About Australian Organic
Australian Organic (formerly Biological Farmers of Australia) is the largest organic industry body in Australia. The not-for-profit organisation represents the interests of 3,000 organic farmers, producers, operators, processors and traders, and promotes the benefits of organic farming and products to consumers. Australian Organic is committed to educating our next generation of food producers and consumers so they can have a positive impact on food and farming enterprises and the environment.
Look for the Bud
When shopping for organic products, make sure you look for a certification logo such as the Australian Certified Organic Bud. It is Australia’s most recognised organic mark and appears on the majority of certified organic products on our shelves. You will see the Bud on all kinds of products including food, cosmetics and garden products.
Organic certification means you can trust that the product is genuinely organic and has been produced according to strict industry standards, with the health and welfare of consumers, animals and the environment in mind. That means no additives, no chemicals and no hormones – just natural ingredients, the way it should be.
